What Kind Of Binder Is Generally Used in The Wood Processing Machine?

We all know that the wood splicing machine processes some short wood into long wood through a series of processing methods, which improves the resource utilization rate of the short wood to a certain extent. It is necessary to use a binder. Different binders are suitable for different woods, and their advantages and disadvantages are also different. Let's talk about it next.

1. Polyvinyl acetate adhesive. This adhesive is mainly a water-soluble adhesive. Its principle of action is to synthesize vinyl acetate from acetic acid and ethylene, add titanium dioxide, and then undergo emulsion polymerization to form a milky white thick liquid. This adhesive has many advantages, including fast drying, good initial tack, and good handling; strong adhesion, high compressive strength; and strong heat resistance.

2, hot melt. This adhesive is a kind of adhesive that is easily affected by temperature and has strong plasticity. It is an environmentally friendly chemical product, non-toxic and tasteless. Its advantages include easy packaging, transportation, storage, solvent-free, pollution-free, non-toxic; simple production process, high bonding strength, and fast speed.

3. Bone glue. It is mainly protein extracted from animal bones, and the one with lower extraction purity is called bone glue. Its most obvious feature is that it is insoluble in water, but it can be dissolved in hot water after heating and has adhesive properties. Its advantages include being strong and elastic, but it has the disadvantages that the other two do not have, that is, it is not water-resistant and has poor corrosion resistance.

The above three points are the binders that are often used in the wood processing machine. The bonding effect depends on the situation, and everyone should pay attention to the distinction.
