     From January to November 2007, the total industrial output value of China's plywood manufacturing industry reached 101,828,484 thousand yuan, an increase of 48.27% over the same period in the previous year; the total product sales revenue reached 96,534,099 thousand yuan, an increase of 48.87% over the same period in the previous year; the total profit reached 4,732,364 thousand yuan, an increase of 70.26% over the same period in the previous year.
    Although China's plywood industry has developed rapidly, it still faces anti-dumping complaints from the EU and some other importing countries, so China's plywood companies and industry organizations must strengthen communication with importers, strengthen corporate self-discipline, and standardize export business order. With the expansion of China's infrastructure construction and the strengthening of the development of the central and western regions, the market potential of plywood is huge.
